Card for CDS weekend color challenge over at PCP group

I am the host for todays Weekend Color Challenge over at the PCP CDS weekend color challenge GROUP.
If you want participate, please respond to the group discussion at PCP located HERE.

Here are all the deets and my card example below that.

1. Please use any CDS stamps, you can find them here.
2. Upload your creation to either your blog, or SCS or other online community by Sunday 1/4/09 at 9 PM CST.
3. Please put CDSWCC1 in your keywords, no spaces.
4. Respond to this discussion (not the wall) with a link to your upload.
5. I will pick one card to feature on my blog on Monday morning.

I use SU colors to describe the colors, but you may use any other company colors that are similar to these.

THE COLORS:
Rose red (dark fuchsia-ish red)
Baja Breeze (light-medium teal)
Certainly Celery (light green-ish yellow)
Optional: More mustard (warm dusty dark yellow)

Neutral: vanilla or cream

Color challenge card for PCP group

This is an extra post for the CDS color challenge group over at PCP. The colors are pink, red, sage.

I used reverse masking on the solid heart stamp.

Supplies:
Stamps: Sweet Valentine
CS: white
Ink: pretty in pink, real red, sage shadow
Access: sewing, stickles

Playing Cindy's Teapot challenge and another card

I finally got to stamp a card for Cindy's Tuesday teapot challenge, and not only that I actually stamped it on Tuesday!  She has the cutest little teapots and they are inspiring indeed!

For my girlie-girl card, I stamped the flowers using rock 'n roll technique and cut them out.  Stamped some of the flourish "leaves" and cut those out.  Die cut the oval and scallop oval from Nestabilites, sponged around the smooth line oval and sewed around the oval layer.  Arranged the flowers and leaves and stuck them on using mini glue dots and SU dimensionals.  I added Sakura crystal lacquer on top of those. 

Stamped the background layer with flowers and flourish "leaves" randomly, ticket punched the corners, and sponged around the edge.  Added Close to my Heart bitty brads in the corners, some sweet blush twill across the base, 4 Martha Stewart pearl stickers on the twill, and an organdy bow on the oval.

• CS: SU pink pirhouette, sage shadow, PTI white
• INK: SU pink pirhouette, cameo coral, sage shadow
• ACCESS: Martha pearl stickers, PTI twill, mini glue dots and SU dimensionals, sewing machine and thread, ticket corner punch, sponge, CTMH bitty brads, Sakura clear lacquer

A HOOT FOR YOU!

This next card I made as a thank you card for an SCS trade I just participated in.  I used copics on the owl and masked around the branch to stamp the owl so that he is perched on it properly. Freehand piercing. Used an SU marker on the branch for shadows.
 

SUPPLIES:

• STAMPS: What a hoot, Stamped with a hoot (c) stamp bith by CD Stamps
• CS: white, kraft
• INK: Brilliance black, lavender lace, creamy caramel, close to cocoa marker, copics E43, E57, E33, YR04 (eyes), 0 colorless blender
• ACCESS: white/purple dot ribbon from Michaels 1$ bin, piercer tool, sewing machine and thread

On the back of the card I used a "stamped by" stamp that is made to go with the What a hoot stamps. It is a (c) stamp for CDStamps too.  Here's a close-up of that image.
