Katie Emerson Renz married to Kevin with 3 young boys.   They had some devastating news just before Christmas that has changed everything.

Katie has been diagnosed with stage 4 Stomach Cancer and is currently undergoing her only option which is Chemotherapy.  Katie is updating her blog with her experiences, if you want to check it out.

Here's something I made using the Sew Grateful set shown in one of the thumbnails above.

I used the PNG images and layered the tomato cushion in front of the spools and printed on 90 lb. Canson waterclor paper.   I watercolored with Tombow markers and a waterbrush.

My card: 3.25"x6.25"

I printed the sentiment and hippo using my laser printer.  I used a tiny piece of turquoise gingham and did  my best to make a really small bow for her head.  After I adjusted light contrast o my photo, the ribbons on the right look black, but they are the same as the other pieces, CDS grape jelly.

That Dp is from a Wal mart paper pack called Best Occasions.

My card:  5.25" square

I added each of the individual mice and cheese images and scaled tem down to about 1" each. I then copied and reversed them, and then rotated some of the cheeses, so that I could create a tiled image base.  Printed on my laser printer.  The colors of the mice seem to coordinate well with CDS worn parchment, and the color of the cheeses is super close to CDS wild ginger.

I printed the pre-color images using my laser printer again.  I cut the big strawberry out and glued it to the circle tag.  The DP is the included red gingham digital paper in the digital set.
