A shaggy cat coloring tutorial link

Good morning!

I had to make a thank you card for cat sitters and I used Shaggy Cat from Doodle Pantry.

I finally got the inverted scallop nestabilities (I know, So behind the times LOL) and got to use them on this one.

The chair has some sparkle fibers on it that makes it look fluffy AND spparkly.

SUPPLIES:

• Digital Image: Shaggy Cat by Doodle Pantry
• CS/paper: 90 lb. Canson waterclor paper, SU not quite navy, SU retired Kiwi Kiss, Basic Grey Marjolaine DP
• Ink: Laser printer, Tombow markers 133, 126, N65, N75, 990, 526, 491, 312, and S'U! early espresso marker, white gel pen (on chair base stand)
• Accents/Tools: waterbrush, circle punch, inverted scallop circle die, corner rounder punch, flower soft glue and sparkle fibers lime, patina stickles (on collar jewel), sewing machine, Offray walmart ribbon "lemongrass" color, retired Su button, linen thread, pearls, foam pop dots

Land that we love

Good morning!

I had the opportunity again to make a card for troops and this is going to a Marine son of a Design Team friend.  We were instructed to NOT put anything glittery on it, as the glitter can shed off onto the soldiers clothes.... even one speck of glitter can make them "visible" to enemies by the sun or other lights reflecting off the glitter.  Wow, I hadn't thought of that before! 

So, I made sure to put nothing glittery on this one.

Also, I tried to keep it as flat as possible, so I didn't use any brads, buttons or ribbon. Wow. that was hard!  But tucked away in a little plastic basket drawer on my shelf, I managed to find this little 2x2 Provocraft Cuttlebug die with snowflakes on it and tucked inbetween the snowflakes were these little stars in nesting sizes... how perfect!  I cut them in red, blue and cream and layered them to make star embellishments.  I used the SU 2-way liquid glue pen to hold the stars together.

• CS/PAPER: 90 lb. Canson watercolor paper, CDS deep sea, red, CDS  toasted almond, Best occasions Walmart Dp pack (star paper)
• INK: printer, caramel inkpad, real red marker, marina mist marker, Tombow markers 947, 899, 942, 528, 946, 991
• ACCENTS/TOOLS: waterbrush, sponge, spellbinders labels 4 and ovals, clear lacquer, cuttlebug mini snowflake/star die, sewing machine

1 Timothy 4:4 Challenge

Hello and Happy Lord's day!  I am excited that Doodle Pantry is able to be sponsoring the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge today!     Patti is hosting this week and chose 1 Timothy 4:4, or a general thank you card, as the theme this week.

1 Timothy 4:4 is one of the verses in the Praise & Thank Him digital verse set, but I chose to use the stone cross and sentiment from a new digital set from Doodle Pantry called Christ's Gift, to make a thank you card.  While the thank you words aren't on the outside of the card, they are on the inside.

MY CARD:

I printed on watercolor paper and used Tombow markers and a waterbrush to watercolor.  Once completely dry, I added blades of grass behind the rocks.

Just like Christ's love, our love for others is supposed to be amazing too.  That's pretty hard to do!  Just keep trying, praying, trusting and obeying and maybe we can achieve it one day.
