Haha, well, this months Clearly Inspired Challenge is a sketch, and I goofed... I used the image supplied for that challenge, but I forgot about the sketch! Good grief. Oh well, so at least I have something to show you using the LIMITED TIME complimentary image for the challenge, Spring Violets. It includes black outline and digitally colored images AND digi papers!
Check out the CiC Clearly Inspired Challenge HERE! Hope you can play along with the sketch!
Below is what I made with the digitally colored images. First is a 3x3 note card set. Second is a 3.25x6.25 card. I printed all the digi paper and color images used on these 5 cards on ONE 8.5x11 sheet of cardstock!
SUPPLIES:
- IMAGE: CDS Spring Violets Digi
- CS/PAPER: white, digi paper included in Spring Violets digi, CDS wild huckleberry, CDS powder puff, CDS fresh papaya
- INK: laser printer
- ACCENTS/TOOLS: Spellbinders circles dies, various ribbon spools from Hobby Lobby, CDS budding lilac satin, pearls, sewing machine, foam pop hex dots

Pretty simple cards today, but they are nice and relatively quick to make. Yes, I know, some say that the color digi's take the fun out of hand coloring, which may be true, but once in a while I just want to get a set of cards done faster than it would take me to hand color them all. So they fit the bill this time.
I hope you found some inspiration to go home and create!
Laurie

I love your cards even if the sketch didn't get used. When I saw this pre-colored digital set I was totally inspired and several cards "popped into my head" :), I've really enjoyed using Pre-colored set lately for a project for Operation Write Home, love 'em!

These are all so awesome, Laurie. I agree that sometimes you just need something fast, and the precolored makes it perfect. You can still claim 'handmade' because they were hand-assembled, hehe. And let's be honest, you did color them, even if it was digitally, because you designed this set :D
