Cute & Fuzzy for CiC16 Challenge

Good morning!   Today is the Clearly iStamp Challenge #16 and this is the card I made for it.  The theme is "Cute & fuzzy".

I hope my card passes the theme!  The baby is cute, and the stork is "fuzzy"... sort of.

I used Kim Teasdale's new stamp set called Welcome little one, available at CDS.

  • CS/PAPER: 90 lb. Canson watercolor paper, CDS lime juice, CDS lemon zest, CDS wild huckleberry shimmer, DP by The Paper Studio
  • INK: Brilliance black, Tombow markersN75, 373, 676, 173, 912, 062
  • ACCENTS/TOOLS: waterbrush, spellbinders ovals, sewing machine, Su border punch, pearls, corner rounder, CDS wild huckleberry sheer ribbon, glue dots, foam pop dots

I love these cool colors you used Laurie. The soft blue and pinkish purple for the sky is lovely.

Hello Laurie. How adorable is this. Such a beautiful cute image and I love the papers for the background, great colours and so beautifully co-ordinated with that gorgeous bow to finish it off. Fantastic card. I hope you win.

Fuzzy Koala coloring tutorial Wow, third post today, whew! Here is a coloring tutorial for the fuzzy fur of this Koala Bear, latest release at Doodle Pantry. Their fur is quite varying in shades of gray. Here is how I get the look using Tombow markers and a waterbrush on watercolor paper. Allow for periods of drying time though.
