I missed my Monday KLM Designs post, so it is today instead! :o)
I used the Spring bouquet image that was released on May 1. I really like how simple this image is and it is so perfect for all occasions that I had to print a bunch out to keep on hand for quick cards. I used the KLM clear stamp set Floral Sentiments for the sentiment.
I wanted to keep this one clean and simple. I watercolored the image printed on 90 lb. watercolor paper, using a waterbrush and Tombow markers. On the larger Labels 4 die, I used the die as a stencil and sponged turquoise on it.
MATERIALS:
- IMAGE & STAMPS: Spring bouquet and Floral Sentiments both from KLM
- CS/PAPERS: Canson 90 lb. watercolor paper, DCWV Citrus stack, turquoise, white
- INK: turquoise ink pad, white gel pen, Tombow markers 676, 755, 098, 985, 845, 020, 515
- ACCENTS/TOOLS: Spellbinders lables 4 die, sponge, waterbrush, sewing machine, glue dots, foam pop dots, dot ribbon from hobby lobby, basic grey pearls and button, linen thread
Thanks for stopping in today! I sure do appreciate all of you!
Don't forget that tomorrow, the 20th, a random winner will be selected and announced for the May Monthly Challenge! I hope you'll come back to find out who was the random winner!
Very pretty Laurie!
Your coloring is awesome and I LOVE that stitching!

This is beautiful! I love this image. It's one of my favorite KLM designs. I love what you did with it... the close up of the image really shows how spectacular your watercoloring is. Wonderful polka dotted ribbon both real and "faux", and your stitching is amazing!
