This week, the challenge at the AI Factory Challenge blog is "B" challenged... that is, to use Blue, a Bow, and Bling.
If you'd like to join in the fun, you don't have to use AIF images, but they do have freebies HERE you can download if you want to use some. You do need to create a login and send freebies to your order cart and then finalize your "freebie order", this is how you get the download link.
The AIF DT was given a choice to use one of the Trinity images newly released at AIF. I was able to contribute to the challenge this week, and I created the following 4.25" square card. I imagined her as having silky black hair and sunkissed skin.
Watercolored with markers and a waterbrush on watercolor paper.
CARD RECIPE:
- Image: Trinity (oval pattern) from AIF
- CS/PAPERS: watercolor, bordering blue, mellow moss, My minds Eye DP
- INK: Su marker bordering blue, moss, pink, saffron, caramel, cocoa, Tombow markers 491, N15
- ACCENTS/TOOLS: Zig .01 millennium for faux stitching, Waterbrush, Spellbinders oval nestabilities, basic grey bling, sheer wired blue ribbon, flower charm, glue dots, foam dots
Thanks for visiting today! FRIDAY will be my next monthly challenge, and the digi image you get for participating is a FUN one! I hope you can come back and join in on the fun.
Happy stamping,
Laurie
