The Clearly Inspired Challenge 7 is posted over at Lori's blog and is up for a week. This is challenge #7 and you are to bling it up! It's the little blings that count, you know!
To participate, make something following the challenge to bling it up, CDS stamps not required but would be nice to see them if you have some, post the project, then leave a comment on the challenge post HERE with a link to your post. There is a winner selected for a prize and then 5 entries are chosen to be featured on the blog as honorable mentions.
Below is my card. Before I sewed the grid, I used my Scor-pal to score the pattern... I used 1" spacing. It was much easire to use the scores as a sewing guide, rather than try to pencil it in and have to erase pencil lines when I was done.
The square bling thing is from CTMH... I got it as a little freebie in an order and there are 2 other shapes with it, and I have had it sitting here waiting to use for MONTHS. FINALLY, I thought of a way to use it, Katie will be proud of me!
Other than the sewn grid, this is pretty simple. The card size is 3-1/4" x 5-3/8"
CLEARLY DELIGHTFUL RECIPE:
- STAMPS: Circle Somethings
- CS/PAPER: white, red, black
- INK: red, black
- ACCENTS/TOOLS: Sq. scallop nestabilities die, Scor-pal & scor-tool, CTMH bling square, Basic Grey Bling, snips, Foam pop dots, glue dots, Offray red satin, Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch, sewing machine
Thanks for visiting me today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend planned, even if that means you plan on stamping! <wink>

I definitely plan on stamping this weekend! :-) Your card is adorable! That sewn grid is *such* a good idea and the black really makes the ladybug pop.
