Happy Memorial day weekend for U.S. folks!
I needed a few thank you cards for ladies who helped me out when I was sick a couple weeks ago, so I made 3 of these.
I used the colors for the CDS Weeknnd color challenge over at PCP, Navy, red, and caramel, but I used Kraft.
I didn't have riding hood red ink, so I used real red ink.
I guess I reached for these blueberries after my little blueberry encounter at the grocery store yesterday... the produce guy was restocking the blueberries and dropped one of those containers just as I was walking up and blueberries went rolling EVERYWHERE all around my feet! There was a few people standing close and we were all scrambling to pick up the rolling blueberries, LOL.
My blueberries are nicely contained in a sturdy red bowl!
The overall card is 3.25' x 5.5" tall.... 1 inch shorter than the SU envelope size "small long envelope".
I cut out the bowl and a group of blueberries, and then a few single blueberries, and popped up the bowl and single blueberries
The kraft Labels 4 panel is sponged around the edge with Ranger frayed burlap ink and the red Labels 4 panel is run through the cuttlebug in the swiss dots folder.
The base paper is some bluejean paper, I think by The Paper studio, at Hobby lobby.
Topped off with white micro brads and SU red gingham.
SUPPLIES:
- STAMPS: Fruity fun
- CS and PAPERS: kraft, ridinghood red, night of navy, white, bluejean patterned paper
- INK: night of navy, real red, ranger frayed burlap
- ACCESS and EMBELLISHMENTS: white micro brads, SU red gingham, labels 4 dies, SU dimensionals, sponges, snips, ticket corner punch, sewing machine
Don't forget that next week on Thursday, May 28, will be the start of June 1 sneak previews for Clear Dollar Stamps! I will be posting all 4 days of preview time and the preview design team will have so many awesoem creations to share with you to, so I hope you'll come by and check them out!
Have a wonderful weekend and happy stamping!
Laurie
I love this set of cards you did for the color challenge and the way the labels are tied down, everything about them is adorable, funny story too! Doesn't it seem like everything falls to the ground when your pregnant and can barely bend over to pick it up!?

Wow! What wonderful thank you's. These are so special. They will love showcasing these in their homes. I love how you used the blueberries. I have made about 4 or 5 fruit cards and still have not used everything from the stamp set yet. I just love that. There is so much one can do with this set. As you show here. I just love the denim paper and stitching and how you popped up some berries. Your grocery story is funny. At least you did not drop it. Hee Hee.
