Thanks for returning for Day 3 of sneak previews of CD Stamps October 1 releases!
The 2 sets I want to show you today are Pumpkin Blessings and Poinsettia Petals, both are solid type images, although the Poinsettia Petals does have a couple of outline petals that coordinate with the solid petal stamps.
Pumpkin Blessings
I'm on a roll with these 4.25" square cards. I just love them! I think that size is becoming more of a standard canvas for me to work on lately.
I stamped the solid pumpkin silhouette in apricot appeal. I inked up the brushstroke pumpkin shadow stamp in apricot and then rock 'n rolled it in pumpkin pie ink and stamped over top the first image. Using Old olive ink, I stamped the vine, stem and leaves and then colored inside the stem and leaves with a certainly celery marker.
Masking off the lower half of the pumpkin, I sponged creamy caramel in underneath it to create the soft colored ground.
Other features on this card is a Levi tab, Photo corner, and offset main image panel.

Poinsettia Petals
Even though this is a Holiday set, I decided to stamp the petals in spring colors to show the versatility they have. The floral images in this set can be used for more than just the Holidays.
I stamped the main panel randomly with the petals that were rock 'n rolled in dye inks, and then stamped 3 of them on separate CS, as well as 3 leaves, cutout and arranged over the rest, securing with mini glue dots.
I used my CTMH bitty brads again! There are Stardust stickles on the pumpkin pie layer around the main image panel, and in the centers of the petals.

Another card with Poinsettia Petals
Believe it or not, the outline petals are stamped in Pacific Point ink, but they look in the picture kind of like Brilliant Blue.
The piercing was done freehand, no templates.
I really am quite stunned I didn't use ANY ribbon. I tried to use some amethyst crushed velvet but couldn't figure a place to put it on the card... felt it was done without it. First for me!

I sure do appreciate each and every one who stops by and takes time to read. I want to apologize for slacking during September, as I had a pretty chaotic month. Much of that was due to hurricane activity. I'm getting caught up though, hope to see you back soon!

Laurie -
Love the owl and the pointsettias - and that's saying something, because I don't like pointsettias at all!!!
Thanks for the inspiration!
