I just had to do another Charlie for fall and Christmas! I will be showing you Charlie Autumn and Charlie Reindeer Games. Also I will show you Leaf Whimsy "wheel" stamp, which was made to coordinate with Charlie Autumn, however I used it all on it's own.
(Sneaky Hint: There is a Charlie that is winter oriented, but he is not coming until Nov. 1--if you love Charlie, trust me, you will NOT want to miss the November Charlie!)
Charlie Autumn
This is a set of 3 stamps. The word SMILE, charlie in the leaves and another sentiment "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower".
I stamped Charlie in Brilliance black and colored with copics (grays) C1, C5, (greens) G84, G99, (browns) E33, E57, (oranges) YR04, Y38, (sky outline) BG01, (ground outline) W1.
SUPPLIES:
- STAMPS: Charlie Autumn to be released Oct. 1 2008 at www.cdstamps.com
- CS: pumpkin pie, mellow moss, chocolate chip, white, Basic Gray Mellow DP
- INK: Brilliance black, chocolate chip
- ACCESS: Spellbinders dies Hinges S3 101, SU pumkin 1/4" grosgrain, CTMH bitty brads, regular antique copper brad, horizontal slot punch, sewing machine and thread, SU dimensionals, sponges
This next card is a twist on the leaf stamp. It is about 1" wide and 7" long. It is mainly intended for use with the Clear stamp wheel, but can also be used on an appropriate sized clear acrylic block. Instead of creating a fall card, I created more of a springy one by coloring the scallop shapes leaves flowery colors.
The entire panel of this card is the cracked glass technique. I used about half a container of SU glassy glaze!
I got the pin at FireMountainGems.

Charlie Reindeer Games
This Charlie set is larger than some of them have been, making room for the sled and bag of presents. Lots of options!

Hi, Laurie,
I'm impressed with your cool creations! Just out here surfing around and learning lots about non-jewelry uses of jewelry components (which we sell). This scrapbook-type stuff, like LEAF WHIMSY, is just great. FWIW, we sell quite a few hat pins (stick pins) in a variety of metals, if you want to check those out.
Take care,
--Dave
