Good morning! I have had one hectic and busy weekend, so no time for pposts for me, but I will catch up on all that this week. :o) I finally finished a Flourishes card that I will post tomorrow, and then Thursday is my weekly KLM Digital Designs post.
But today I used some of my very neglected SU stamps. I needed some thank you cards and this cute bird is easy, and you can make so many different birds by just using different colors!
I made one a yellow warbler and the other a blue bird.
I didn't manage to get a close-up shot before I sent these off to people, sorry about that!
Both are 4.25" square cards.
RECIPE yellow warbler:
- STAMPS: Stampin Up Spring Song, PTI Mixed messages
- CS/PAPER: BG two scoops DP, watercolor, cocoa, mustard, white
- INK: brilliance black, mustard, saffron, green, cocoa, not quite navy
- ACCENTS/TOOLS: grosgrain ribbon, sewing machine, waterbrush, nestabilities octagons and ovals, Su button, thread, provocraft embossing folder, sponge
RECIPE blue bird:
- STAMPS: Stampin Up Spring Song, PTI Mixed messages
- CS/PAPER: BG two scoops DP, watercolor, pumpkin, not quite navy, white
- INK: Brilliance black, not quite navy, pumpkin, green, cocoa
- ACCENTS/TOOLS: twill ribbon, sewing machine, waterbrush, nestabilities octagons and ovals
Thanks for stopping in, I sure do appreciate each and every visit! I'll be back tomorrow.
Happy stamping
Laurie
