Hello!  Thanks for visiting my blog.  Each visit and comment is truly a blessing and I am so grateful for each of you!  Thanks for sticking with me!

I just want to let you know that I will be having this baby by July 6 or 7 if he doesn't want to come sooner, and so my blog postings during July may be limited, few, or possibly non-existent.  HOWEVER, I plan on returning just as soon as I get used to 2 children in the house, LOL!  My goal is to return to regular weekly postings in August.

DON'T MISS JULY PREVIEWS from June 27-30!

I WILL be having 1 post per day from June 27-30 for the Clear Dollar Stamps July 1 releases sneak previews,  and they will be set up to post automatically, just in case I become unavailable during that time.  There is A LOT in store for you starting July 1, I sure hope you don't miss these previews as well as the other DT blogs featuring previews!

Good morning!

I must apologize that I cannot post  this week due to myself and my 2-1/2 year old both have mild flu's with fevers sore throats and coughing! 
With being in my third trimester, of course they can't give me anything that works to make me feel better either!   We are both on chicken noodle soup, toast and juice diets and it's not fun.
So, no post this week, I am very sorry!  I hope to be better by the weekend and able to post something next week.

Yesterday, I completed a card for the PCP CDS Weekend Color Challenge that Monique was hosting this weekend.  She picked Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, and Pink Pirhouette as the colors and here is my card I came up with. I wanted to keep it simple.

Supplies:

• Stamps: Butterfly Wings
• CS: white, pink pirhouette, chocolate chip, old olive
• INK: pink pirhouette, chocolate chip, old olive
• ACCESS: sponges, leafy embossing folder, sewing machine, SU retired olive twill, CTMH bitty brads

I only embossed the top part of the base since I didn't want to overbear the sentiment below.
Butterfly is cutout and stuck on with mini glue dots.
Chocolate chip is sponged around the pink panel base, and the ribbon knot is stuck on with mini glue dot too.

ABOUT CHA

I am going to CHA from Saturday through Monday, returning Tuesday morning.  The winter CHA is only for retailers and employees and since I am employee of Clear Dollar Stamps, I get to go this time!
*IF* I can post anything regarding stuff there, I will try.  Can't make any guarantees though, as I'm not sure yet if there are any rules about not posting pictures of stuff or other details.

News and an update on posting

Hope you have had a wonderful weekend!    A little explanation as to why I haven't posted in a week.... not long ago we had a little surprise happen and I have been extremely nauseous, so bad that all I want to do is lay on the couch!   We are expecting our second child and will arrive in the middle of the stinkin' hot Texas summer!   Not looking forward to all the swelling....   This one is about 10 times worse than my first one, so it really hit me hard right about when sneak previews for Dec 1 were starting.

So, anyway, I haven't even wanted to stamp, it's been that bad!   But, I have my first doctors appointment this Tuesday and I hope to get some medication that will ease the nauseousness so that I can function again.   Until then, I am hoping to find those pregnant pops that I have heard people talk about....

Back to business!
I have a project that I will be working on this week that uses patterned paper and a box template to make a cute presentation for my mini nativity set, and I plan on showing you that either next Sunday or Monday, the 14th or 15th, when it is finished and I get photos uploaded.

So sorry to have kept my readers hanging, but it's just been a nightmare and I have not been functioning at 100%!  Thanks for understanding and I hope to get back on the stamping bandwagon this week!

Road Trip

Hi!

Just wanted to let you know that I am not ignoring my blog, I have limited computer access, so I may not post this week.  However, I have a lot of posts, including some tutorials, to go with my sneak previews next week.  I will try to post while I'm on my trip, but if not, check back next week!

I Updated my Tutorials page

Just a little note for those who may be new to my blog and to those who visit regularly:

I have updated my Tutorials Page which is in the right sidebar near the top.  I now have ALL my tutorials, whether video or written in that list.  They are in alphabetical order by title and each one is listed whether it is a video or written post.

I hope this is helpful in finding everything in one spot.
