Hello!
Just sharing with you today the 3 Father's Day cards I made. One for my husband, 1 for the Father-in-law and one for my dad.
FOR FATHER-IN-LAW - featuring Mo Manning image The Big Guy's Garden
I actually made this for the DP2 Challenge #35 to make an easle card, and had it done before the challenge was over, but failed to get it posted in time. I was trying to keep this one as simple as possible! The father in law has a garden. He loves to garden and grow things. He lives in the country. And doesn't even have internet... or a computer. Visits to the father in law are... fun in that there is so many different things to do there, but I sure do miss my internet and keep my blackberry in my pocket when we are on the 4 wheeler in the field going to feed the cows or pick purple hull peas!
I hope he likes this card and sets it up on his piano.
I printed the image on my Canson 90 lb watercolor paper with my Dell laser printer. I colored using watercolor Tombow markers and a waterbrush.

FOR MY HUSBAND- featuring Karen's Doodles image We love you dad
What a perfect looking family! I thought this was so darling and my 4 year old daughter saw it and wanted to make daddy a card with it, so I had to get it. I had to use the circle die to cut around the top half of the family and then add a big button over the third childs head because we don't have a third child and I just didn't want to give my husband any funny ideas.
I printed the image on my Canson 90 lb watercolor paper with my Dell laser printer. I colored using watercolor Tombow markers and a waterbrush. Takes some patience since it's a good practice to wait for each section to dry before coloring the next section.
