MY CARD using Thankful Pockets NOV SOM:
My card uses a template that will also be available Nov. 1 at CDS! The template will include printable PDF sheets for all the pieces needed to create these cute overalls, AS WELL AS a classic apron shape card.
The pocket on my overalls card is the stitched pocket image from the NOV SOM Thankful Pockets stamped in the CDS Deep Sea palette ink. The pencil and ruler image is using CDS wild ginger palette ink. Everything else on the card is just CS, sewing and hardware.
SUPPLIES:

I took quite a while on this card to find something that would be mostly black and white with some color. I went back and forth between several papers before deciding.
To color the sun, I used a piece of scrap cardstock that had a circle already cut out of it, and I laid it down and traced lightly. Then, I just stayed within the circle with my waterbrush blending of the sun's color. When it was completely dry, I was able to erase what was left of the light pencil line, and then add the blue sky color around the sun and blend all the way out to the edge.

- CS/PAPER: 90 lb Canson watercolor paper, black, CDS wild ginger, The Paper Studio DP from Hobby Lobby
- INK: Brilliance black, Tombow markers N15, N75, N65, 946, 990, 947, 098, 177, SU real red, SU marina mist
- ACCENTS/TOOLS: waterbrush, spellbinders circles and pinking dies, sewing machine, snips, CDS fresh papaya satin, black grosgrain, foam pop dots

I knew I had to paper piece a sugar bowl with this set! I love this bloom & grow paper from My Minds Eye... the colors and designs are so fresh and fun. I watercolored the background around the sugar bowl BEFORE glueing down the paper piecing pieces.

- CS/PAPER: Canson 90 lb watercolor paper, garden green, new leaf, orange zest, my minds eye bloom & grow DP

- ACCENTS/TOOLS: waterbrush, spellbinder ovals, wild orchid crafts flowers, ek mini scallop corner punches, pearls, orange zest ribbon, linen thread, basic grey button, sewing machine, pop dots, tacky glue
