Digital kid cowboy

First, don't forget that Friday is the first day of sneak previews for the September 1 releases over at Clear Dollar Stamps, and I will have posts for you all weekend showing you those.

About the card.  I found this adorable kid cowboy digital image "set" over at the Ai Factory and HAD to have him!  Other images that you get is the cactus you see on my card, a horseshoe, a hat and rope combo, a cute "wanted" sign, and a few other small things.

The image is printed on Canson 90 lb. watercolor paper, and I used dye inks/markers and a waterbrush to watercolor.

I popped up the front if his hat and neck bandana. 

The white gel pen was used on his buttons and to dot the bandana and to add highlights.

I also used white and brown fun flock on his cowhide chaps, see the closeup photo below.

  • CS:  watercolor, flair designs cowboy and bandit paper, pacific point, chocolate
  • INK: brilliance black, caramel, chocolate, pacific point, sage, mustard, blush blossom, ruby red, pink
  • EMBELLISHMENTS: nestabilities dies, SU dimensionals, chocolate grosgrain, SU regals brad, sewing machine, waterbrush, crystal lacquer, fun flock, white gel pen, sponge
  • COLORING: watercolor

This is adorable Laurie. I love the stitching and the way you colored it. You have really made me curious about this. I need to try it. Can't wait for the sneak peeks..
