Today I'm showing you several of the new single stamps to be released on Nov. 1 at CDStamps.
I got a new camera - my DH got it for me for our anniversary - and these pictures were taken with it. But, I'm not sure if the pictures are any better, I am still playing and learning it.
Little Lamb is about 1" square. This card is pretty simple, just stamp the lamb 3 times and punch out with SU scallop square. Then, stamp her 2 more times and cut out the pieces for paper tole layers.
I reached for my recently unloved retired SU color Groovy guava on this and then was pondering how much I still love this color!
SUPPLIES:
- STAMPS: Little lamb for Nov. 1 release, Kid encouragements all by www.cdstamps.com
CS: groovy guava, blush blossom, sahara sand, watercolor - INK: Brilliance black, sahara sand, blush blossom
- ACCESS: Su scallop square punch, retired SU groovy guava ribbon, su dimentionals, su word window punch, cuttlebug dry embossing folder, sponge, waterbrush, pewter brads, CTMH bitty brads, sewing machine and thread
RODNEY DEER and SCALLOP LEAF BORDER
Little Rodney is meek and dear as he poses for the camera! He is about 1"x1.25" in size. The "Dear" word is also a new release. The background is a repeatedly stamped 1/4"x6" long skinny stamp called Scallop Leaf Border, so it will fit on your standard 6" block. This border stamp is meant to coordinate with a new set called Prayer Journal, but I haven't shown you my sample for that yet.... and probably won't be until next week since the box I made using that set accidentally got left at Lori McCroskey's house last week when I went there to visit her in Missouri! She's sending that box back so I can photo and blog it.
Back to Rodney. Stamped in Brilliance and watercolored on watercolor paper. I used blush blossom ink for the "haze" around his body. The ribbon is a soft velvet chocolate silk color and will be sold by the yard starting Nov. 1 at CDStamps.

- STAMPS: Rodney deer, Dear word, Scallop leaf border all for Nov. 1 at www.cdstamps.com

MARVIN & MARCY MICE and CHEESE WEDGE and CARD CATEGORIES
This is my favorite card today!
The sentiment is actually from a new set called Card categories and the set is meant to organize your card file box, but so many of the words work perfect for card sentiments too! And I love the size and font, they are approx. 1/8"- 3/16" tall.
The mice are each about 1" square, and the cheese is about 1"x 1-1/8".
I masked the 2 cheeses in the back, and the other is popped up on dimensionals. Both mice are cut out and the lower one is popped up.
I watercolored the Brilliance stamped images, and I actually watercolored using some white craft (pigment) ink and my waterbrush for the mice to get them a little more white than the watercolor paper was. I was surprised that it actually worked. TIP: The only tip I can give about that though, is that you have to be careful not to run your brush over any stamped lines, as you will sort of white-wash it because of the opaque nature of pigment ink.
The caramel background is sponged on and the baja "floor" is watercolored.
The ric-rac velvet is also a new ribbon that www.cdstamps.com will carry on Nov. 1! I absolutely love the velvetey ric-rac, and they will have 5 or 6 colors!
SUPPLIES:
- STAMPS: Marvin and Marcy Mouse, Cheese wedge, Card categories all for Nov. 1 at www.cdstamps.com
- CS: watercolor, baja breeze, creamy caramel, pumpkin pie
- INK: Brilliance black, pumpkin pie, apricot appeal, baja breeze, creamy caramel, pink pirhouette, going gray, SU craft white
- ACCESS: waterbrush, sponges, brads, ric-rac velvet ribbon, swiss dots embossing folder, nestabilities tag dies, sewing machine and thread
That's all for today, and one more day of previews is tomorrow! Thanks for stopping in, happy stamping everyone!

WOW... I found you through your Mousy card on SCS. I'm totally in love with your work and am a new fan!
I featured you (your mice and cheese card) on my blog today. Each friday, I pick a card from my blog searching or from SCS uploads as inspiration. It is always a card that catches my eye and just makes me happy. I then showcase it on my blog (with your name and links to your gallery and blog) and then get in my studio to create. I also share the card I made using yours as inspiration.
Your's was just toooooo cute!
Thanks for being an inspiration!
Hugs,
colleen

Hi Laurie! All 4 of your cards are adorable! I love the little sheep (they are just precious) and the lamp post card is very pretty (love the shrinky dink sentiment). Rodney is so sweet and I love the browns on this, and those cute little mice and cheese - love the color scheme. Beautiful work!
Hugs,
Linda
